Food Safety  - Health & Safety

We can help you comply with food hygiene legislation; carry out food safety inspections and provide practical guidance on compliance. We can assist you to prepare your HACCP system and train your staff on how to understand and monitor your food safety system.       
We can also help you comply with Health & Safety legislation; carry out compliance inspections and provide practical guidance.. We can assist you to prepare your Health & Safety policy and train your staff on how to understand and monitor your policy.

Liquor Licensing

Affiliated to City & Guilds, Urban Training has three ServeWise-accredited Licensing trainers (two being hands on operators and one a specialist licensing solicitor). We are able to offer the licensed trade every help it needs in embracing the new Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 which came in to force on 1st February 2008 and is fully operational on 1st September 2009.  
We can provide the ServeWise Certificate for Scottish Personal Licence Holders for On and Off-Licences as well as the mandatory staff training and assistance with preparation of risk assessments and house policy statements.     

Training

Training can be provided throughout Scotland, in your own premises or at a venue of your choice. We can provide training at our excellent training suite just off George Square in Glasgow City Centre.
We provide both Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland Courses (REHIS) and ServeWise Personal Licence Holder courses (City & Guilds) as well as our own bespoke courses that can be developed to your own individual requirements.
